You are invited to our Advent break for women in the winter beauty of Ashburnham place. There will be time for worship, teaching, rest and refreshment, as we journey through Advent and towards the Christmas celebrations.

Advent is a precious season and yet it can be a time when time when there are many distractions, false expectations. Somehow Emmanuel – Christ with us can get lost in the wrappings and trappings.

Once again we will focus on the Christmas story and the greatest gift God gave in sending his son to the world he so loved. There will also be time to reflect on the past year and prepare ourselves for the Christmas celebrations and the year to come.

Our Advent breaks are special times for drawing close to God. Let’s be present in God’s presence and look to receiving his gifts with joy and gratitude.

Come just as you are and with a heart to draw closer to God, oh and don’t forget your Christmas jumpers.
